The RMBW Fund

The R. McLeod Buckham-White Fund (RMBW Fund) was established to honor the enduring legacy of our beloved son and brother, Mac. This unimaginable journey has initiated a conversation that has connected us to others who have been navigating similar circumstances in silence.  Although we will never recover from our loss, we feel compelled to move forward with intention to help others find meaningful solutions.

Within EmotionThink, the RMBW Fund carries a heartfelt mission rooted in personal experience. At a time when Mac's diagnosis was met with limited resources and understanding, we recognized a profound need for greater support and research in mental health specifically related to this diagnosis—particularly impacting  young Black men. Our goal is not only to remember Mac but also to actively engage with and contribute to the vital conversations that can transform lives and communities.

We strive to illuminate previously overlooked areas of research, fueling innovation that directly connects to the lived experiences of those affected. Every contribution to the RMBW Fund is helping us bridge critical gaps, providing the tools, understanding, compassionate resources, and connection needed to nurture stronger mental health solutions, remove shame and stigma, and genuinely support others facing similar challenges.

Together, let us create lasting change built on understanding, empathy, and hope.

Again, we thank you for joining us in celebrating Mac. Our private Facebook Group remains active for those who wish to share memories, stories, and the impact Mac has made in each of our lives. You may also continue sending messages or media to the dedicated email established for the immediate family. Reading your memories, sentiments, stories, and condolences continues to help us immensely, and we are deeply grateful for your continued outpouring of support.
